Through legislation and fiscal incentive, Government is forcing and encouraging everyone to think about recovering more resources from waste. Shanks operates in countries with the highest recycling rates in Europe and we have experience of a number of treatment processes capable of producing renewable resources and energy from waste.

Our vision is an ambitious but achievable one. Whilst Shanks is not, and is unlikely to be, the largest waste company in all of our target markets, we have set ourselves a clear and aspirational vision to be regarded as:
